From first call to a clear plan

Each step is explained before it happens, so you always know what comes next and what it costs.

  1. Free 15-minute call Book online in a couple of minutes. We listen, answer your questions and check that an assessment is right for you. There’s no obligation.
  2. Questionnaires online Before your appointment you complete short questionnaires. Someone who knew you as a child, or your child’s school, adds their view.
  3. Your assessment A structured video assessment with a consultant psychiatrist. For adults this takes about 90 minutes; children’s assessments are split into shorter sessions.
  4. Report and plan A written report with the outcome, the reasons for it and our recommendations. With your consent, we send a copy to your GP.
  5. Treatment, if you want it If ADHD is diagnosed, we can start treatment, including medication reviews where appropriate, and then work with your GP on shared care.

A careful assessment, not a quick label

ADHD is real and treatable, and getting the diagnosis right matters. Our assessments follow the NICE guideline on ADHD (NG87) and take the time they need.

Specialists only

Assessments are carried out by consultant psychiatrists on the GMC specialist register, with experience in adult or child ADHD.

More than a questionnaire

We use a structured diagnostic interview, rating scales and the views of people who know you well. Never an online quiz on its own.

The whole picture

We check for things that can look like ADHD or come with it, such as anxiety, low mood, autism, sleep problems or learning difficulties.

Honest outcomes

Not everyone we assess has ADHD. If you don’t, we’ll explain why and what might help instead.

Safe prescribing

Medication is only prescribed after health checks, with regular monitoring, and when your clinician judges it safe and suitable for you.

Working with your GP

With your consent we keep your GP informed and follow shared care principles, so your care can continue closer to home.

Wondering if it could be ADHD?

Our free self-check takes about two minutes. Answer 13 short questions about yourself or your child and get a plain-English summary of what might help next. Nothing is saved or sent.

Fees agreed before you book

No hidden extras. Each assessment fee covers your questionnaires, the appointment and your written report.

If ADHD is diagnosed

Treatment is your choice. We’ll talk through the options, including not starting treatment at all, and agree a plan together.

Medication reviews

If medication is suitable, your clinician starts with a low dose and adjusts it gradually, with regular video reviews to check how it’s helping and any side effects.

Shared care with your GP

Once you’re settled, we ask your GP to take over prescribing under a shared care agreement. We still review you at least once a year.

Support beyond medication

Understanding ADHD makes a difference. We offer an ADHD education session and can point you to coaching, therapy, and support at work or school.

Questions people often ask

Can’t see your question? Read all our FAQs or get in touch.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No. You can book directly with us. We’ll ask for your GP’s details, because keeping your GP informed is part of safe care and is needed if you start treatment.

Will my GP accept a private diagnosis?

Most GPs accept a diagnosis from a consultant psychiatrist that follows NICE guidance, but they don’t have to. Your report explains how the diagnosis was reached, which helps. If your GP decides not to share your care, we can continue your prescriptions privately.

Is the assessment done online?

Yes, by secure video, so you can be seen from anywhere in the UK. If video would be hard for you, tell us when you get in touch and we’ll talk through the options.

What happens if I’m not diagnosed with ADHD?

You get the same detailed report, explaining why and what might help instead. That can include other assessments worth considering, or support you can access straight away.

Can I use NHS Right to Choose?

We’re a private, self-pay service at the moment. If you live in England, you can ask your GP about a referral to an NHS-funded provider under Right to Choose. Waiting times for those services vary.
